The girls that I scrapbook with have a monthly gift exchange and we call it "Not So Secret Sister". There are 8 of us and we each choose a month where we make 8 idenctical gifts and either send them or deliver them to each of us 8 girls. Now we used to call it "Secrect Sister" because we didn't know who had what month but now when we get together we just pick our months and everyone knows who has what month. Anyway.........I thought I'd show you what I made for my "Not So Secrect Sister" gift. My month was October and here's what they got:
The first thing I made was a dry erase board from a 11 x 14 frame. I was a Michaels and I found these frames on a close out for only $4 each so couldn't just pass them up. I had found an idea a long, long time ago somewhere on the internet where they made these and I printed it out and copied the design but I didn't write down who it came from so if you know who it is, please let me know and I can give them credit for this great idea!!!
Here's a gift bag I made using the new Cricut Artiste cartridge from Close to My Heart. I made the face from that and just put orange cardstock onto the bag and added the face and topped it off with a bow using some of our brand new black stripped ribbon!
Inside this cute little gift bad was this very, very cute wall hanging that I copied from Pinterest. I also used a varitey of shapes from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and a ton of punches that I had from various companies.
The picture just does not do this much justice, it is way cuter in person but you can get the idea just how cute it can be!
All of the girls really liked the gifts and I was very proud to give them to them! So thanks to all the great creative minds out there that came out with the original ideas for us copy queens! LOL
